For September 2020...
God view: The connection between creativity and God's character, as shown through God's Big Story.
Hi parents, grandparents, and guardians of the kids,
We think friendship is something to celebrate. After all, it's a gift from God! Our friends are there to help us and walk alongside us, through all the ups and downs of life.
This month, we can help kids understand what it means to be a true friend: to use your words and actions to show others you care. It's the perfect reminder as kids settle into a new way of doing school, or back into homeschool.
During this time, kids (and parents!) have increased anxiety. The theme of friendship can resonate as we trust our closest friend, Jesus, to guide us. It also means that we can become interdependent on one another as we navigate. It is good to laugh, to share frustrations, and to cry with a good friend when we can. So help your child to apply these stories to their own friendships- in so doing they will learn to be a good friend, and will build long lasting relationships with their siblings, neighbors, pod-mates and church friends. We will be praying for you, and would love to walk in friendship with you during this time of transition- let us know how we can be a friend to your family this month!

Our above curriculum is designed to provoke discovery and invite kids into a new understanding of how to grow in relationship with Jesus. Each month we present a fun theme that combines child development and theology to create a comprehensive connection with your child. The goal is to combine the influence of church and parents to grow faith in the next generation that will last forever.
